My name is Vincent Katsoulis. I got my master degree in Communication and Media Design: Game Design at LUCA school of arts, C-mine Genk in the year 2018-2019. I proudly graduated with great honours with my master project Morimachi Melancholy, A game inspired by Japanese Film to experience the unique calmness of day-to-day Japanese culture.

I have a passion for Illustrating, graphic design, 3D modelling and game design. I like to work in a highly stylized and low-poly style giving extra attention to detail and colors. I mostly take inspiration out of my interest and hobbies but I certainly don't mind to research new domains and styles.
​
My other interest are within fashion, analogue photography, films, animation films, Japanese culture, some interieur design and house plants.
​
I'm familiar with programs like Unity,Blender, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Word, Powerpoint and Marmoset Toolbag 3.
​
I'm fluent in English and dutch and know the basic for french and german. I am on a journey to learn Japanese but to say I know the basic is too soon.

Mijn naam is Vincent Katsoulis. Ik heb mijn master diploma Communicatie en Media Design: Game Design ontvangen in het jaar 2018-2019 op LUCA school of arts, C-mine Genk. Ik kan met trots zeggen dat ik met hoge onderscheiding ben afgestuurd met mijn master project Morimachi Melancholy. Het spel is geïnspireerd door de Japanse Filmkunst om zo spelers de unieke kalmte van de alledaagse Japanse cultuur te laten ervaren.

Ik heb een passie voor illustratie, grafisch ontwerp, 3D modelling en game design. Ik werk het liefst in een highly stylized en low-poly stijl met extra aandacht voor details en kleurenschema's. Ik neem grotendeels mijn inspiratie uit mijn andere interesses en hobbies maar ik heb eveneens geen schrik om in het onbekende te springen en iets nieuws te proberen.
Mijn andere interesses liggen bij fashion, analoge fotografie, film en animatie film, Japanse cultuur, interieur design en huisplanten.

Ik spreek vloeiend Engels en Nederlands. Ik kan mijzelf minimaal behelpen in het Frans en Duits. Ik ben in mijn eigen tijd Japans aan het leren maar dit zal nog even duren eer dat ik hier mezelf mee kan behelpen.
